Foire Attractions in Monaco: a wonderful story that repeats itself with each new generation

It is one of the most exclusive places in the world, and with an area of just over 2 km², it hosts internationally renowned events that draw hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world. But beyond this prestigious showcase that inspires dreams, the Principality of Monaco does not neglect or sacrifice everyday life, nor does it forgo the pleasure of organizing other important initiatives open to everyone—opportunities to come together with friends and family.

One of the most eagerly anticipated events of the year is the Luna Park—known as Foire Attractions—and like all amusement parks around the world, big or small, it tells one of the most beautiful stories of human existence.
The Luna Park is that place you fall in love with as a child and that continues to entertain you even as an adult.
That’s where we take our children, who will later return on their own as teenagers, and who one day will bring their own children—born into the families they’ve started—back there.
In the Principality of Monaco, too, this beautiful story is a tradition—a story rewritten by those who come after, taught by those who came before.

The Foire Attractions remains a gathering place for people of all ages for one month each year, during the Monegasque National Holiday, celebrated on November 19—a date chosen by Prince Rainier III and upheld and carried on by his son Albert II, the current sovereign.

It’s set up at Port Hercule and features rides for all tastes, skill game booths, raffles, and delicious sweet and savory treats. Along the entire length of Quai Albert 1er, joy and carefree fun are everywhere.
The Foire Attractions is open daily, starting at 11 a.m. for food stands and children’s rides, and at 2 p.m. for all attractions. It closes at midnight from Friday through Sunday, while on other days it closes earlier, at 11 p.m. On the eve of Monaco’s National Day, Wednesday, November 18, it will be open exceptionally until 1 a.m.

Every fall, the Principality of Monaco hosts the Foire Attractions, four weeks of fun, scents, sounds, and colors.
