In collaboration with UNESCO 80 and the Mediterranean Cooperation Program, “The Wake of Monaco” at the University of Corsica

We had the pleasure and honor of presenting on the “OCM-Offroad Club Monaco” project – www.offroadclubmonaco.com – as part of the first Forum of UNESCO Chairs in the Mediterranean, held at the “Pasquale Paoli” University of Corsica (Corti, September 8–11, 2026), during the closing session on September 11 dedicated to Mediterranean cooperation. During this prestigious conference, within the framework of the “UNESCO 80” strategy, the initiative was presented as a tool for international cooperation aimed at promoting the cultural, environmental, and performance heritage of the Mediterranean: this, in fact, was the focus of the first OCM international workshop, held on March 11, 2026, in the conference hall of the Oceanographic Museum of the Principality of Monaco, which emphasized Monaco’s central role in the culture of “off-road” competition and athletic performance. “The Wake of Monaco,” serving as both a starting point and a destination, is the concept proposed as a Mediterranean symbol of the sharing of historical legacies and cultural heritage dating back to the Middle Ages.
