73,000 visitors attended “Monaco and the Automobile, from 1893 to the Present,” the exhibition at the Grimaldi Forum

A success for the organizers and a source of excitement for visitors. The Grimaldi Forum exhibition titled “Monaco and the Automobile, from 1893 to the Present,” which ran from July 1 to September 6, 2026, closed after sixty-seven days and having welcomed 73,077 visitors. This result ranks the exhibition fifth among the most-visited summer exhibitions in the history of the Grimaldi Forum, alongside “Queens of Egypt,” which welcomed 73,000 visitors in 2008. It also comes close to the 2025 figure for “Colors! Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou,” which attracted 76,500 visitors. For the Grimaldi Forum, the automobile was an entirely new theme. Monaco is the home of the “ Motors,” a land of tradition and thrilling races that have shaped the history of motorsports. For the Grimaldi Forum, it was an exciting and successful challenge that inspires plans for other exhibitions centered on major themes related to cultural heritage.
